The Align project, ‘Aligning Accounting Approaches for Nature’, aims to enable organisations to measure their impacts and dependencies on biodiversity by developing a standardized suite of methods, indicators and criteria for biodiversity measurement and valuation. 1

Business relevance
Multiple approaches to measuring corporate biodiversity performance exist and are being developed, but they are not necessarily aligned with each other. Alignment of these approaches is essential to build consensus and clarity on how organisations can measure and report on their biodiversity performance. 1
